This is not an "Off The Shelf" charging system. All the components in this system have been carefully selected to work together to provide your Big Dog Motorcycle with the best charging system available on the market today.
This system includes:

• Electronic Series type voltage regulator with the voltage output calibrated to meet maintenance free battery requirements
• Precision balanced rotor with the magnets permanently attached and sealed
• Heavy duty rotor spacer machined to give you accurate front and rear sprocket alignment out of the box
• New engine crank seal
• WSW's Engine crank seal Installation Tool that makes installing the crank seal dead simple and accurate
• 40/20 Series breaker assembly with wiring instructions
• Supplemental  instructions that cover items not listed in your BD service manual

This kit is not for EFI bikes.
EFI Bikes should use the 3 Phase 38 amp kit

In a few cases some minor filing needs to be done to the inner primary cover at the front radius. BD decided to have the manufacturer form these into the case to try and prevent BD owners from utilizing aftermarket charging systems. It is a relatively easy resolution.
