NO MEDALLION SPEEDOMETERS
Send only your speedometer. If you send WSW a Speedometer assembly there is an additional charge of $50 for WSW to break the unit down in order to complete the work on the speedometer. Units that are not chrome are polished before reassembly.
Upon receipt of your speedometer WSW will complete the following:
Break Down Speedometer
Clean all internal components thoroughly
Trim excess tips off soldered areas that promote corrosion
Apply new layer of urethane sealant to electronic board
Install watertight, metal strain relief for wiring
Seal front lens to prevent leaks
Install full O-ring seal under bezel to help keep unit sealed
Install new odometer trip reset button, if needed
Purge speedometer with nitrogen before final assembly to prevent the dreaded fogging
The following are additional charges that you can select above right before putting your item in the cart:
Replace lens
Replace needle(limited supply available)
Replace inner speedo face (black only, limited supply available)
Replace speedometer case(limited supply available)
Currently we do not have replacements for the chrome bezel ring, internal speedometer support bracket or the electronics.
If the internal support bracket is cracked or broken we should be able to tig weld it.
