SPEEDOMETER  CALIBRATION

1. To set the speedometer into calibration
   mode, press and hold the trip/reset button.
   While holding the button, tum the key to the
   ON position. Continue to hold the trip/reset
   button until the pointer moves to full scale.
2. Release the trip/reset button.
3. Press the trip/reset button. The pointer will
   move to half scale. The speedometer is
   ready to be calibrated.
4. Drive the two-mile distance and stop. The
   speedometer odometer tracks pulse counts
   over the two mile range. The accumulated
   pulse count is - 98880.
5. Again press and release the trip/reset button.
   This will display 1/2 the accumulated pulse
   counts from step 5. The speedometer then
   exits the calibration mode and the pointer
   returns to zero to complete the calibration.

SPEED SENSOR TEST
First, test that the red wire reading is 12
volts. Test the black wire for continuity.
Using the proper equipment, raise the rear
tire, and check voltage at the green signal
wire while spinning the tire. The reading
should be between O and 6 volts. If no
voltage registers, replace the speed sensor.
