This service is for rebuilding 2 each of "Your" Big Dog OEM Works rear shocks, as shown in this items picture. We break the shocks all the way down, clean and examine everything, assemble with new seals and fresh oil, in 20w (softer damping) or 30w (Harder damping). In addition to oil changes for lighter or stiffer damping WSW also offers preload increases or decreases for spring rate. For heavier individuals, exceeding 200lbs, we increase the preload by 1 point. For lighter individuals, less than 200 lbs, we can decrease the preload by one point. When we increase or decrease the preload it does not affect the ride height. Please make your selections before adding this service to your cart.
Shocks will be returned in the OEM base state so some minor adjustment may be necessary by the installer after installation to acquire the ride height the customer prefers.
We currently do not offer replacement of major parts such as cases and valving parts, but we do offer replacement shafts if your shafts are worn or scratched and causing leaks. If these items are damaged beyond use, we have new shocks available.
